Dinner at Lemon Press, Nantucket 🌙✨

This summer, Lemon Press has taken its beloved daytime café vibes and extended them into dinner—and it’s quickly become one of my favorite al fresco spots in Nantucket. The energy feels light and coastal, with breezy outdoor tables, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and dishes that celebrate seasonal produce in unexpected ways.

🥗 The Food

The menu leans vibrant and plant-forward, with creative twists that make each dish feel special:

Creamy hummus with Persian pickles & warm pita — this was so good we actually ordered it twice—partly because we devoured the first one before I even had time to snap a photo.
Grilled romaine on beet hummus – smoky romaine layered with quinoa crunch over a velvety beet base.
Roasted beets with strawberries, balsamic pearls & mint – sweet, herby, and full of texture.
Harissa Avocado Salad – kale, quinoa, corn, chickpeas, Persian pickles, pita crunch, and greens, all tied together with a bold harissa vinaigrette.

🍫 We ended with a chocolate ganache crumble that was rich, silky, and indulgent—exactly how dessert should be.

🍹 The Drinks

The cocktails and mocktails at Lemon Press are just as creative as the food. My favorite of the night was a custom mocktail made on the spot:

✨ muddled strawberries
✨ fresh basil
✨ ginger beer
✨ turmeric & ginger

Light, refreshing, and the perfect way to close a summer day on Nantucket.

🌊 The Experience

What I love about Lemon Press is how every detail feels intentional. The plates themselves are unique—each dish arrives styled beautifully, like part of an artful tablescape. And while the flavors pull from global inspiration, the whole evening is anchored in the relaxed, coastal spirit of Nantucket.

Sitting right on Main Street, there’s also the simple joy of watching the world go by—families strolling by, groups of friends discussing where to meet out later that night, and that unmistakable island energy in the air. It makes the meal feel less like dinner out and more like being part of the heartbeat of Nantucket.

Dinner at Lemon Press is one of those experiences that makes you want to slow down, savor, and come back again soon.
